- Explore UMTS radio network planning concepts, including frequency planning, cell breathing, and interference management.
- Understand mobility management, call setup, handovers, and session control in a UMTS network.
- Evaluate Quality of Service (QoS) mechanisms in UMTS and their role in supporting voice and data services.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and performance analysis using UMTS KPIs and measurement tools.
- Gain insight into UMTS evolution, including HSPA/HSPA+ enhancements for higher data throughput.
