  • Apply proper procedures for inerting, gassing-up, cooling down, and cargo tank preparation.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and gas detection systems to ensure safe working conditions on LNG carriers.
  • Participate in emergency drills and response plans, including LNG fire control and leak management.
  • Enhance coordination between ship crew, terminal personnel, and port authorities during LNG operations.
  • Understand the environmental and operational considerations in LNG shipping, including emissions and energy efficiency.
