- Identify Salvage Methods and Techniques: Learn practical techniques such as patching, pumping, towing, lifting, underwater cutting/welding, and the use of air bags or pontoons for refloating operations.
- Develop Risk Assessment and Safety Planning Skills: Conduct thorough risk assessments, safety planning, and hazard identification for different salvage scenarios, including hazardous cargo or unstable wrecks.
- Enhance Incident Command and Decision-Making Abilities: Understand command structure, coordination with authorities, and decision-making processes under time-sensitive and high-risk conditions.
